with the Switch 2 coming soon allegedly, the alleged look of the thing has got me thinking that honestly... it's way too honkin big. If it's to be believed that it's really just a Switch but Bigger and probably like ~$400 (allegedly less?) it feels like at that point maybe I should just get a Steam Deck.

I've also learned that CES is happening literally on my birthday, so for my birthday lenovo legally has to listen to my requests, and it is a crime to disappoint a plush on its birthday.

But yeah the main appeal to me for a Switch 2 is backcomopat and at the very least getting to play my existing library at better performance but idk if thats worth the price alone. Also gaming is just expensive, and also like,,, I'm not a hardcore gamer? I know just about everything I've done on this blog has basically been gaming related but I honestly don't play video games too often and anyone that knows what I do play knows its mostly indie puzzle titles and train sims lol. Which that hardcore gamer-ness is honestly kinda my issue with the Steam Deck as it is currently, no doubt it'd serve my needs but its built like a tank and was advertised as running Cyberpunk which I absolutely do not need lmao. The Switch + a case is already pushing it for me in terms of how much space and weight in my bag I want to dedicate to a portable and something I frequently omit from my bag already.

uh anyways, I just want like the Steam OS PS Vita or something that is all lol

oh yea happy holidays btw 🎄🧸
